Practice Companion

30-Day Starter Guide

A structured first month of trust practice. One action per day. Use alongside TrustGym and the Field Guide.

How to use this guide

Week 1
Foundation
Day 1
Read The Hale Model section. Take the Trust Diagnostic in TrustGym or using the 9 questions in Section 3.
Reliability
Day 2
Complete your first TrustGym workout. Use Reliability Prompt 01 as a personal reflection — write 5 minutes without stopping.
Reliability
Day 3
Share the Hale Model with one person: "I've been thinking about trust as three things, not one. Want to hear it?"
Presence
Day 4
Complete a TrustGym workout. Use the Week 1 Tracker to check in across all three dimensions.
All
Day 5
Identify one commitment you didn't fully keep this week. Name it honestly — to yourself or the person affected.
Reliability
Day 6
Use Presence Prompt 01 in a 1:1 conversation today. Listen. Don't solve.
Presence
Day 7
Complete Week 1 Tracker. Write your weekly reflection — one trust moment worth remembering.
All
Week 2
Practice
Day 8
Run your first Trust Roundtable — even informally, with 2–3 people. Use the Worksheet to capture what comes up.
All
Day 9
Complete a TrustGym workout. Engage with the AI coach reflection fully — don't skip it.
All
Day 10
Use Adaptability Prompt 01 in a conversation or reflection. Where are you in your capacity to repair?
Adaptability
Day 11
Open your next team meeting with one prompt from the Quick Reference. Note the difference in the room.
All
Day 12
Identify one strained relationship. Name what repair would look like — specifically. You don't have to act yet.
Adaptability
Day 13
Complete a TrustGym workout. Review your Trust Journey — what is the AI coach noticing?
All
Day 14
Complete Week 2 Tracker. Are your scores moving? Where are you growing, where are you stagnant?
All
Week 3
Depth
Day 15
Introduce the framework to a new group — a class, a meeting, a team. Use your own experience as the entry point.
All
Day 16
Complete a TrustGym workout in your growth dimension. Use one prompt from that dimension in a conversation.
Growth dim.
Day 17
Run a second Roundtable. Use a different prompt. Compare the Worksheets — what's consistent, what's shifting?
All
Day 18
Write 10 minutes: "The trust deficit I most often see is ___. The dimension it lives in is ___. What I can do is ___."
All
Day 19
Open a 1:1 with a dimension-specific question instead of "How are things going?"
Presence
Day 20
Complete a TrustGym workout. Tell your AI coach what you've noticed in your practice this week.
All
Day 21
Complete Week 3 Tracker. What would 10% more consistency look like in your weakest dimension?
All
Week 4
Integration
Day 22
Identify one structural change — to a meeting, process, rhythm — that makes trust-building a default, not an add-on.
All
Day 23
Complete a TrustGym workout. Note which dimension you're in and what it's asking of you today.
All
Day 24
Share what you've learned with one person not in any of your roundtables. Not a pitch — a conversation.
Presence
Day 25
Return to the Section 2 self-assessment questions in the Field Guide. How have your answers changed since Day 1?
All
Day 26
Let someone else facilitate a Roundtable using the guide. Observe what they do naturally and what they find hard.
Adaptability
Day 27
Complete a TrustGym workout. Review your full 30-day arc — what has the AI coach noticed over time?
All
Day 28–30
Complete Week 4 Tracker. Write a 30-day reflection: What shifted? What are you still working on?
All
After 30 Days

The practice doesn't end. It deepens.

Run the Roundtable monthly. Keep the Tracker going. Retake the Trust Diagnostic in TrustGym every 90 days. Introduce the framework to the next person who needs it.
