Use Hale and TrustGym for their intended purpose, building a genuine trust practice. Don't misuse the services, don't claim our content as your own, and don't use the AI coach as a substitute for professional mental health support. Everything else is common sense.
These terms apply to anyone who uses thehaleconcept.com or the TrustGym iOS app (together, "the Services"). By using the Services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Services.

You may use thehaleconcept.com and TrustGym for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these terms. You agree not to:
Not a mental health service. TrustGym is a personal development tool for building trust-related behaviors. It is not a mental health application, therapy service, or crisis intervention service. The AI coach is scoped to trust-building conversations only.
Crisis support. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, suicidal thoughts, or an emergency, please contact the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline (call or text 988) or your local emergency services. Do not rely on TrustGym for crisis support.
AI limitations. The AI coach in TrustGym is powered by Anthropic's Claude API. It can make mistakes. It is not a licensed therapist, counselor, or coach. Treat its responses as one input among many, not as professional advice.
App updates. TrustGym is a live App Store application. Features may be updated over time. We aim to maintain backwards compatibility with existing user data.
All content on thehaleconcept.com and in TrustGym, including The Hale Model framework, the 30 facilitation prompts, the Trust Diagnostic, the Field Guide, all written content, and all design elements, is owned by Hale and protected by copyright.
You may share and reference Hale's content with attribution. You may use the free web tools at thehaleconcept.com/field-guide for personal and professional facilitation purposes. You may not reproduce, republish, or sell Hale's content without written permission.
The Hale Field Guide PDF kit, purchased through Gumroad, is licensed for personal and professional practitioner use. It may not be resold, redistributed, or sublicensed.
The Services rely on third-party providers including Anthropic (AI), Netlify (website hosting and forms), Gumroad (product sales), and Apple (app distribution). Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. Hale is not responsible for the practices of these third parties.
The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Hale does not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hale shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or any harm resulting from reliance on AI-generated content.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
We may update these terms as the Services evolve. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Indiana.
